Fell Foot Park

The views of Lake Windermere from Fell Foot Park are breathtaking. The Victorian lawns feature plenty of picnic areas. Plus, it's home to the  Boathouse Café, where you can watch the boats and soak up the scenery.

Gummer's How

This iconic hill on the eastern shore of Windermere is a walker’s paradise. The circular route offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, and the surrounding woodland is home to all sorts of animals, birds, and insects.

Grange Fell

With three separate summits - Brund Fell, King’s How and Ether Knott - Grange Fell is the perfect choice for those looking for moderate walking routes with rewarding views.

West Windermere Way

The West Windermere Way is a newly created route that follows the western shore of Windermere between Newby Bridge and the ferry line, linking to the existing Windermere West Shore Way between Ferry House and Wray Castle. This new route will follow the lakeshore in places (mainly off-road), but will also head away from the lake taking in some key visitor attractions. Make the most of the £2 bus fares – ideal for getting to Newby Bridge/Lakeside from the park.
